You can but don't expect it to boot without a repair.
You'd do better putting it in an external caddy that you then plug into a USB port to get your data off it. Oh yeah, some Sony Vaio laptops are a pain in the behind to get the hard drive out of. Last one I saw, had to take the entire back off, bend the cover half over and then struggle to unscrew the thing. Good luck |
