Norton detects the trojan.lowzones, but can not delete it. When I navigate to location of the files C:\Windows\Temp, I see all the temp files, but the names are constantly changing, and Norton says, can't delete, access denied. I boot to safe mode, delete there, run scan, says clean, go back to normal mode, fins virus again. Task manager shows ssu.exe numerous times, suspect something is going on there. Any help would be appreciated. Debbie |

Hello again,
I don't see anything suspicious on your log.. Let's try this : You may want to print out these instructions or save it as a text document, and use them as a reference. If you have any questions regarding the fix, please ask us before proceeding. It is also important for you to don't miss a step and perform everything in the right order. ===================================== Download ATF Cleaner
Reboot into Safe Mode
Run ATF Cleaner
===================================== Run Ewido Anti-Spyware
Restart your computer ===================================== Run an online scan at Panda's ActiveScan
===================================== In your next reply, please include these log(s):

HI There,
Thank you very much for your time, I greatly appreciate it. I spent a lot of time working on this over the weekend, and I feel confident that I tackled it. Especially since you didn't find anything in my log, it makes me feel extremely confident. I appreciate your time and effort, but at this point, I would rather give your time to others that need it. If anything should come back to haunt me, I'll come back and post another thread. Again, mucho thanks!!! |
