I'm on here trying to find help for my girlfriend. She has had a problem for almost a week now in which she cannot get on the internet to browse webpages. It keeps coming up with unable to find/load pages (like she has no connection). However, her connection is fine according to her computer and she is able to use msn and msn voice to talk to me. In addition, she's had some nasty bugs in her computer. She's had no anti-virus program, but I bought McAfee (Total Protection for 3PC's) and sent her the installer since she couldn't download it herself. She isn't able to install it because it keeps saying she can't connect to the internet. She did several scans with Malware Bytes and repeatedly found trojan.vundo and virtumonde. I downloaded HijackThis and had her run it, then had it analyzed and we fixed the .dll files that were associated in it with virtumonde. However, she still can't get online to browse and neither McAfee or Trend Micro will let her install their programs. (Trend Micro keeps saying there's a threat on her computer that won't allow them to continue to install and asks her then to scan. After this is just stops.) In addition, it has been giving her random "ghost" errors. Her computer makes error message sounds, but no message appears on the screen. Although I don't think it's done this so far today. Below is her HiJackThis file. I'm currently having her run another Malware-Bytes scan so that I can get the log from that. Help would be greatly appreciated.
