A few days ago my flash drive started lagging "My Computer" when I tried to open the drive from that location. It's a sandisk micro cruzer with u3 technology. I tried uninstalling the u3 launcher from it but the uninstaller couldn't detect the drive even though it was plugged in, and when I plug it in the drive doesn't stop flashing even though it was supposed to. I also tried to format the drive through disk manager but it just gave me an error with a paragraph of "attempted operation is invalid..." Using active kill did not work either, it couldn't detect the drive when it was plugged in but after I plugged it out.

I'm just wondering if it's broken or not so I will know if I need to buy a new one or if I should try to get it fixed.
