Hi fateless, welcome. First, let me say that you should not be posting HJT logs in this forum. If you think you still have malware problems return to your thread in the malware forum and ask Rorschach112 to look at another HJT log.

I'm not sure I understand your problem. From the image you posted, it looks like the Change/Remove action is missing from the J2SE Runtime in Add or Remove Programs. Is that the problem you are trying to solve or is it more generic than just J2SE, affecting other programs in Add or Remove Programs?

Here is some information on how this works.

When you open Add/Remove Programs applet and click an application entry, you may notice that the Change, Remove (or Change/Remove) buttons may be missing, thus leaving only the application name entry there.

Click Start, Run and type REGEDIT. This starts the Registry Editor. Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
\SOFTWARE
\Microsoft
\Windows
\CurrentVersion
\Uninstall
\"Program Name"

"Program Name" here might be Adobe Acrobat 5.0 for example

In the right-pane, do the following:

Double-click NoRemove (REG_DWORD) and set it to 0
Double-click NoModify (REG_DWORD) and set it to 0

If NoRemove is set to 1, the Remove button will be unavailable
If NoModify is set to 1, the Change button will be unavailable

Above from http://www.winxptutor.com/arpbuttons.htm

Before you make any changes to the registry, please back it up. An excellent way to do this is to install ERUNT. Let it add an entry to your Start menu during the install process. That will allow ERUNT to backup your registry each time you boot. It only takes a few seconds and has no real impact on boot time. Run ERUNT immediately after installing it to create a full registry backup.

You could try the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.

Read this first: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

If your happy, download it: http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9...1bd/msicuu2.exe

Use at your own risk, but it might do the trick.

ATF, FixIEDef, and DSS can all just be deleted

HijackThis, uninstall it from Add or Remove Programs
