OS: windows xp



i have the user account control shut down (just because it annoys the piss out of me everytime i wanna do something)... is there a way to get that red shield out of my toolbar at the bottom and stop the pop-up that keeps telling me to turn it on? thx in advance

win-key + pause break then go to
security center then
change the way security center alerts me
yea it should work just fine
