recently i format my system and installed windows xp professional. i lost my motherboard cd, so im unable to install audio and video drivers. i dont know where to find the drivers. the device manager shows, ?other devices ? multimedia audio controller ? video controller(VGA compatible) multimedia audio controller- its properties shows "This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)" video controller(VGA compatible)- properties shows "The drivers for this device are not installed. Hi! This is the information that you need to look at:
Display: Video Adapter VIA CastleRock 3D Accelerator VIA CastleRock Multimedia: Audio Adapter VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller Also if you remove the case to your tower and look at your video card or mother board it will give you the specifics. Then do a google search for your drivers. Make sure you shut down your computer, unplug it and leave it set for 10 minutes before opening. Then touch the metal frame to ground yourself or use an anti static wrist band if you touch anything inside. |

You should find most of your drivers Here. Those listed under the "Other" category are likely the dhipset drivers...install those first. wannabe1 |
