This problem is on my daughter's computer. The ever present wallpaper says "Warning spyware threat has been detected on your PC" etc. etc. Wallpaper file is called default.htm. I have deleted it and it just comes back. I also get many popup messages on the task bar warning me of attacks and sometime Internet Explorer with just open to advertise the spyware removal tools probably responsible for this mess.

Task manager is disabled in the registry. I have changed the key and deleted it and it just changes back.

I have run Ad Aware 2007, Windows Defender, AVG and SmitFraudFix with no success.
