I have 32-bit, windows Vista Ultimated on a gateway FX. I have a set of bose 5 companion speakers hooked up to it, and didn't have any problems until recently. I play a couple of free MMORPGs and it started with a game called Fiesta. Since then i've played last chaos and perfect world, but with all of them and even when i'm not playing games my sound will randomly cut out and quit working, i can't do anything to get it to start up again shy of restarting the computer.

Here's what I've tried

I've looked at my device manager, no yellow exclamation marks
Checked for updated drivers, found none
checked sound levels
checked different programs, nothing works, even windows sounds
checked to make sure Bose was set as my default speakers.

Please help me get this resolved. Thanks in advance.
