Hi,
Everytime I go inot Internet Explorer it goes to a site called http://www.securitycaution.com/ and says the following: Attention! Your system is under control of remote computer with IP address 227.4.167.118. The remote computer has access to the following folders on your PC: - \WINDOWS\System32 - \Program Files\Internet Explorer - \My Documents - Drive C:\ files Click here to download official anti-spyware software Your private info is collected by W32.Sinnaka.A@mm Im really new to this and would like some help in getting rid of this. I have already ran spybot and ad-aware, plus my sophos virus checker, and they have found a few things but not got rid of this. Please help! Kind Regards Neil |

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. There is help available here. First, you need to work your way through the malware removal guide at http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Malware-Spyware-Cleaning-Guide-t2852.html This enables folks to solve most problems on their own. If you still have trouble after that, post a hijack this log in the malware forum at http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Malware-Rem...o-Here-f37.html

Phil, you need to follow the same advice that I gave to the firs post, which is:
Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. There is help available here. First, you need to work your way through the malware removal guide at http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Malware-Spyware-Cleaning-Guide-t2852.html This enables folks to solve most problems on their own. If you still have trouble after that, post a hijack this log in the malware forum at http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Malware-Rem...o-Here-f37.html Also, if it is necessary for you to post in the malware forum because you are in need of expert help, be sure to start your own thread. Don't combine yours with someone elses like you did here. Thanks. |
