This is an issue with Vista.
She had this issue after an update, and I get the same error on my machine. I will buy the new version for her when I have a few extra $ |

Yes, and also from the disc itself.

What is the error message she is being given? Is the game not firing up at all or is it firing up and then crashing? Is UAC turned off?

I came across this doing some research: http://www.bestvistadownloads.com/software...d-yxfnjkrs.html
I'm not sure if it is the full version of the game or not but it comes from a website called Best Vista Downloads. I would give it a shot. It might be a newer version that will be more compatible with Vista. |
