You're welcome <img src="http://www.geekstogo...IR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Windows 2000 is a very nice OS, very stable.
Sorry to resurrect this thread.. but I finally got around to trying a reformat/reinstall using my Win2000 Executive edition.
Reformatted the hard drive, no issues.
Trying to install the OS, and I get lots of messages about certain files not copying right, or not being able to install certain files.
For example:
ir41_32.ax was not copied correctly
ir50_32.dll unable to copy
ir50_qcx.dll was not copied correctly
msvcrt20.dll was not copied correctly
There are LOTS of messages like this.. so is something fried on the motherboard? Memory bad? Time to make this one a doorstop and buy a new one?
