OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
I'm a very forgetful guy. I used Windows Calendar to remind me of exams and such last semester, and it worked fine. This semester though, it hasn't been going as well. It hasn't reminded me outside of the program of a single appointment, and I have employment orientation next week that I can't afford to miss. Does anyone know how I can get this working again?

Do you get any errors messages? Are you current with Windows Updates? Have you installed Service Pack 1 for Vista?

If you haven't installed Vista Service Pack 1, I'd suggest you do it. Windows Vista Calendar feature is supposed to remind you of events even when it's not running, because it runs as a service. However, there are some known problems with it, and Vista's User Account Control (UAC). The updates are supposed to address and correct those problems.

I'm fully updated. As a rule with my school's software, I can't connect to the internet unless I have UAC enabled. Although, it was enabled last semester as well, and I had no trouble getting reminded outside the program.
