Hey,

Second attempt at this post, last one ended in a comp freeze!

Windows explorer crashes whenever I explore the C drive or my external HDD, or even use windows search for files. I get the token message saying 'Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close....blah blah blah'

This is then followed usually by 'Dr Watsons Postmorem Debugger has encountered....' and by now its usualy crashed. I can rarely CTRL ALT DEL out of it but usualy its a case of pressing the off button to force a shutdown.

I have scanned the hard drive and external hard drive for viruses in windows and safe mode using AVG 8 and this has always come up clean unfortunately. I also get a popup like the JPG attached which sucks as they have my name on there!

Hope that aint an overload of info.... Just in case you didnt know, Kontiki is something to do with 4OD (Channel 4) and has been running fine for months.

Hope you can help, this is making using my comp incredibly difficult!! If i open files from within programs i can mostly get away with it, but hitting my documents usually costs me a restart.

Thanks in advance, A LOT!
