You noticed
 I uninstalled Norton AV a few days ago. I wasn't inclined to update my subscription. AV Free Edition works good, right? Provided I keep up on the updates... Anyways Jersey Girl, I then updated all the other Spyware/Malware tools and ran quick scans. Still probably a little dirty  I attached another HJT Log for your reading enjoyment. How long does it take to be a good HJT Log reader? My Firewall settings are still grayed out and defaulted to OFF. This is weird...I responded to this earlier today. I think the post didn't go through. sorry about that. Have you tried disabling spybot teatimer and then changing your firewall settings?

Disabled the program you mentioned. Didn't seem to matter. Thought about uninstalling the program but tried the tip at the following website and it seems to work so far...
 I have the ability to turn the Microsoft Firewall "on and off" now. http://windowsxp.mvps.org/resetfwpol.htm I'll report back with further issues if they arise. How's my HJT log? Am i good or do you need another one? |
