Windows Login Second Try at Posting, Lets try this again xD

OS: Windows XP
Hello!

Normally when you push windows key + l it locks the computer and takes you to the users screen. I however would like to go to a login box where you have to enter your user name and password.

I use Windows XP SP2 Home Edition.

Does anyone know how do this, I did it once but forgot >.<

Hi mbridges7718!

What you want to do is disable the Wecleom Screen. This can be done by doing the following:

Click on START-->CONTROL PANEL. Once the Control Panel window opens, double-click on USER ACCOUNTS. In the new window that appears, click on Change the way users log on or off. Uncheck the box for the option Use Welcome Screen. Then click APPLY OPTIONS. Now reboot your computer and it will now show the window where you have to manually enter the Username and password.
