When I try to listen to or watch anything on it with RealPlayer or Windows Media Player, it knocks me off of my internet connection. I have not had this problem forever, it used to work fine to watch or listen to things online with Windows Media Player, then one day this started happening and it has happened ever since. In an effort to try to be able to use media off the internet, I installed RealPlayer to try to use it instead, but it still does the same thing. Any help for this? I researched it a bit online, but was unsuccessful in finding a resolution. I did find that others had the same issue with Vista. My husband tried looking for a patch to download, and we found what we thought was one on Microsoft, but the download would not work! If you have any info on this, please advise. Thank you! |

This may be a provider problem.
Do you have any other computers in the house on the same connection? Does it also happen on those? |

I have a desktop computer that does not have the same issue. I can listen to or watch anything on it...it is just the lap top. I think it must be some setting that got inadvertently changed in the laptop or something?????
