You might want to have a look at what is running at start up. Click "Run" then type "msconfig", sans quotes, uncheck everything that isn't necessary and see if your boot time is faster.

You could also clean out the junk by running disk cleanup and then defrag if you havent already. If you havent done these for a while, that could also be a reason for slow boot. You could also uninstall any prgrams you wont need anymore.

Dowload M$ Bootvis. After its installtion open it, Click Trace -> Optimize System.

i have 11 programmes at startup if i give you the names which ones will be safe to get rid from startup:
hpsysdrv RECGUARD VTTIMER AGRSMMSG NvCpl nwiz gcasServ realsched NvMcTray ALCXMNTR APVXDWIN There are the programmes at startup is there any there that i cant STOP! ? |
