When I start up XP, everything is fine until I go to open up my profile.... once I do that it gets to the desktop and then gives me a DOS prompt screen that reads C:\documents and settings shutdown -t 00 and then some other characters too fast to see then it says that windows station is shutting down and it shuts down before I can get to control panel. How can I jump into XP before having to load the profile. I used spyware doctor to remove some duplicate DLLs somehow I think that this and some programs that are trying load are conflicting or I got some malware that inserted the shutdown command. I run AVG, Adaware PE, spybot, and spyware doctor almost every other day. This is driving me insane. I can't live without my computer and am typing this on my kids computer in the living room. What can I do. I beseech you please enlighten me with [COLOR=green][FONT=Arial]your sage advice.

have you tried going to safe mode?
when you turn on the computer just keep tapping f8.
as much as possible try using another account (eg administrator)
afterwards browse your account, c:\documents and settings\ then check your startup folder.
