Windows takes a while to shut off and reload...depending on many factors, the least of which is the size of your RAM chips, and their stability... It also has a bunch of "services" to go through...coming and going. If you can download WinPatrol, or better yet, Process Explorer, or another like program, this will give you an idea of what it is doing, and then you can shut off a few of the loading commands that you honestly feel you can live without on the reboot... no need to complicate matters... You may have to experiment a bit with this. If this does not resolve the issue, then do a sfc /scannow command on it to be sure all is well in the attic
In most cases, it is confused and does not know just what to do sometimes, we have to give it a kick and dust off |
