Windows XP can't find services.exe

OS: windows xp



Im running Windows XP but every time i start up i get an error message saying windows can not find C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe

You have to replace that file. Do you have your original XP install disk?

If you do then you can use it to replace any missing files.

It's strange. Windows XP should auto-repair missing files. For example, if you try to delete "alg.exe", it'll re-appear in the next second.
If "services.exe" cannot be found, this means, something is deliberately blocking it from run. You might have some malicious software on your machine.
