Hi,
I have seen a virus cause this problem, though it could be a number of other things. Lets try running the following scans at the link below first. Have them remove what they find (If anything). If you are still having that problem, post back, and we will try some other things. BestTechie - Security Scans List Run all the scans there. Then post back, with an update.
