Hi,

I've recently changed Internet Service Providers. THey provided me with new software and a peripheral transmitter / receiver (USB) to talk to the router/modem. I set it up and it worked fine.

However I tried to change back to the wireless adaptor (Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG Network Adaptor) supplied in my laptop (Compaq Presario V2000 running XP) as I need to connect to other wireless networks that are not supported by the supplied software (i.e. it can't recognise it) but have had no luck! Every time I try to connect through the the Wireless Network Connection, it returns a message saying that the Wireless Zero Config no longer manages the connection. I've uninstalled the network programs supplied by my provider and tried to restart the Wireless Zero Configuration but it refuses to work saying that no device is attached to it.

I've tried contacting microsoft, the service provider and intel for assistance but they have not helped me at all! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

regards,
Jez
