I keep getting disconnected with a buffalo NIC, and am using the updated drivers but not the buffalo supplied software. I've tried with and it doesn't help.
I get this error constantly in event viewer:
The system detected that network adapter \DEVICE\TCPIP_{9D6C978F-FAB9-4280-ADD6-9055DC8565BD} was connected to the network, and has initiated normal operation over the network adapter.

Several per second. A wireshark capture usually shows EAPOL authentication keys being sent several times per second from router to nic, or vise versa I forget.
Another time in wireshark, I noticed alot of DNS lookups going to and from my router (which is an ACTIONTEC 701wg) while having the same "disconnected" problem.
A reset of the router always solves the issue, but coming home from school the next day I find it has dropped connection overnight... sigh.
