I have dell inspiron e1505. It has win xp on it. I just upgraded to a mac. But still use both of them. There are many options to setup networks and differ things etc. on my dell but I can't seem to get any of them to work, way too confusing. Anyways to my actual topic- I want to have a folder on my dell where I can put files in. Then, with my Mac, log into the folder and and copy the folders from the dell's folder onto my Mac hard drive. Thats basically it, I don't want to stream music or anything like that from it, unless that's just as easy to do. -I want to do this wirelessely. -I have comcast broadband in my apt. It's hooked up into my roommates computer and he has a wireless transmitter, so I just log onto the internet via wireless. - can this be done wirelessly? Both computers are wireless, and both log into the same wireless account. -Any help would be appreciated, If you need any more info just let me know. |

Hello andybsu and welcome to Geeks to Go!
Have a look at the following link and let me know if the instructions work for what you are trying to do: File sharing between Mac and PC Regards, Ax |
