Wireless connection is not working

My notebook used to work with built in wireless network connection,but now don't work. I have a HP Pavilion tx1219 notebook AMD Turion 64x2 mobile Technology running Windows Vista with broadcom 802.11b/g and D-link wireless ADSL2+router.
I did re-download the driver from the HP website.When I set up the connection again .The message that this pc dones not have a wireless network adapton installed and configured.Any expert can help me please.
