This morning my dell laptop would not boot up - it went to blue screen after windows screen for Chkdsk - it finally ran all the way thru the chkdsk after getting stuck several times and booted up the computer.

The wireless connected with an excellent signal strength to our network of 3 computers via wireless but still will not open up any web pages or yahoo im or aim etc. nothing as if its not connected to the internet but when i repair the internet it stays it is fine.

Please help - thank you so much!!!

Hello again,
when your computer ran chkdsk it found some corrupted sectors. The corrupted files may have had something to do with your being able to connect to the INTERNET.
Would you use the flash drive method I showed you to install Fire fox and give that a try?
I normally use IE but fire fox will take you less time.
Thank you
