Word 2003 Cannot find a .cab file

hi geeks to go, I edited the name in my registry and after I did that, my microsoft office said cannot locate the P2561401.cab file

i downloaded the cab file, now its on my computer desktop but i dont know which folder to put it in to make my microsoft office function properly without giving the error cannot find file message

hey kayla what you can do is you can paste the backup files of office(P2561401.cab ) in MSOCACHE.its located in the C:\
its a hidden file.
you can place the file in temp also since MSoffice searches for the temp folder first.
can you tell me what changes did you do in the registry that caused this problem..
I also want the path of the registry...
