PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA...................etc..." I'M using Windows XP SP2. Just before the crash, the message "Please wait while your media is updated" appears. The message box has the title "Sonic DLA". I checked the sonic update site, and I have the latest software. I'm using Sonic Record Now Plus version 7.3. Do I need "Record Now" or similar software to make a data DVD? Can I remove Sonic Record Now and Just copy and paste files to my DVD? Thanks, Jon |

Hi JonL.
Dragging files to a CD or DVD means you are running packet writing software that basically treats them as large floppy drives. In my experience they are unreliable and quite often cause other problems. I would disable Sonic DLA completely. I would recommend that you use the regular Sonic burning application to write files to your DVD. If you don't close the session then you can continue to add files until it gets full. If cost is an issue, you can try DVD-RW media which you can format and reuse, just like CD-RW media. The same problem exists with Roxio Drag to Disc and Nero INCD. |
