I'm confused by this problem. I have a system on my network that will not keep its assigned dhcp address. It will grab it for a couple of minutes, and then switch to a system assigned address, 169.x.x.x If I hard code an ip address into the pc then everything works fine. I've used different cables, replaced the nic, replaced the port on the wall. This one is really confusing me. Any ideas or suggestions?
