My father-in-law has a new Dell Dimension and two USB printers - one Kodak 5500 AiO and one Del AiO A940. A few weeks ago he called the infamous Dell support line and finally had a tech come out to replace "a board". From how he described it, it was the motherboard. Then, my father-in-law started having trouble with his printers. We have reloaded the drivers, changed to new oem catridges from their new wrappers. No fix. Balck won't work on either printer. I have downloaded new printer software for the Kodak printer and will try that tonight.

Have any of you experienced this after having a MB replaced? I suspected cartridges at first, but now, I am ready to cross that off the list.

If the main circuit board has been replaced then the printer is probably not what it says it is any longer.
You need to find out what's been replaced and whether the printer thinks it's a different model. You may need to download new drivers or replace the cartridges if the printer thinks it's significantly different from before.
