I am hosted with centrica hosting. But tripod is quite good.

Havent been with them long but I have been really impressed with 5quidhost, which offers a good free package as well as upgrade options.

You just go on ebay and type in web hosting and it comes up with about 100 or more.
Then its the only one thats £5.95 exactly!

I would suggest to look for a paid host instead to make sure you should get good support and at least 99% uptime which is quite not possible with a free host.

I have never found a free webhosting service that was worth they advertising annoyance. They lack features, are slow, and most certainly do not add a professional look to a website. At the current time site I have created for customers are hosted on...
Fatcow - (6/10) An OK service if you dont need a ton of extras. GoDaddy - (7/10) A good service but It has its very own very unique control panel that I find can be confusing at times. Lunar Pages - (9/10) I have never had a complaint with Lunar Pages hosting. They use Cpanel as the Admin Control Panel which I prefer to all the others. |

For what it's worth, I just discovered that you can host pages on Google if you have a gmail account. See http://pages.google.com - I believe there are no ads, but I don't know about features. Good for personal page or two, probably not for a full blown site.
