I had a problem with IE SpyAd, when unzipped there was no programme with it, only txt files.
That's correct. Read the page from where you downloaded it and follow the instructions on how to install it and use it.

You do not recommend a Anti Virus, I downloaded Avast during the time we have been communicating but this is only limited license for a set amuont of days, do you have any others that you would use ?
Correct I didn't recommend one as you already have avast!. You might got a limited trial version of the avast! professional version. What you need is the Home Free version

One AV is a must have! But never more than one, as this can and will cause conflicts and false readings. I have listed three free AV's below which are as good as any paid subscription AV, as long as you allow them to update themselves.

Anti Virus Programs

Atf Cleaner ca be downloaded from here

Hi Heir, just to give you an update. All is well and my system is now running ok, no signs of the infections at all. I just cannot thank you enough for all of your time and help with my problem, I consider myself very lucky to have found this site and to have received the guidance from you. I will be making a donation and if you lived in the UK I would be buying you many, many beers ! Have a great vacation.
