help please i have had problems with pc i cannot open programs once downloaded i get a message saying windows cannot access specified device path file you may not have appropiate permission to access the item, i can open folder but not programs i have tried to download new spyware malware programs to remove other current problems, i seem to be able to download the programs but not access them to use them, i also have at moment no anti virus program as i deleted avg a day ago, i have no idear about pc tech languages so if anyone can help please make it simple for me to understand LOL.

Download Unlocker
The link will be right under the comparism table of the different programs.
Once installed then right click on the EXE file for a program and then click on the Unlocker and then when its finished you should be able to access the program.

thanks tried unlocker as said before cannot open anything that i download

What are you downloading?
i can unlock any program that has a brain lapse with Unlocker
What kind of programs are these and where are you getting them from?

it does not matter what i download from anywhere on the net, i cannot access what ever programe it is even from microsoft, its like somthing is tacken over to stop me doing anything,

Well then we will have to do this the hard way then. I have to believe then you may have an infection since what ever you are downloading could have been infected.

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post the reguested logs in THAT forum. If you are unable to run any of the tools then start a new topic in the malware forum and put this in the subject line...I am unable to run any malware tools

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

I have gone to start here but no joy as cannot run anything up that is downloaded.

hi i have been having problems for weeks with anything i download, once downloaded i cannot open files or even do online pc scans to look for problems, i can not also run anything from regedit, i alway get mesage saying windows cannot access specified device file or path, i have been looking to sort this out but am in need of help in what to do. I have found that in the device manager there is a problem with scsi and raid controllers, aka3hmgv ide controller, i have tried the troubleshoot but no joy what can i do and what is this doing to pc is this the problem from not being able to open any programs thanks in advance.
