When I try to connect to my internet provider, Comcast.net, I am being diverted to a google search page because Spy Sweeper has blocked access to ad.yieldmanager.com. I'm also diverted to this google search page when I try to access comcast.net from Hotmail. This is what comes up as the address to which I'm diverted: http://www.google.com/hws/emachines/afe?hl...ype&rdr=afe Spy Sweeper tells me ad.yieldmanager.com is a danger but has not found where it is and how it is diverting me from my internet provider. I have run a sweep with my virus sweeper, Trend Micro and also swept with Spy Sweeper. I have read your must read this page and run ATF cleaner, created a system restore (XP), run antimalwarebytes anti malware, updated windows, rebooted, and run hijack this which is below. It's still somewhere in my system causing havoc! I would appreciate any help in getting rid of this. Thanks!!! Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below. O2 - BHO: CBrowserHelperObject Object - {CA6319C0-31B7-401E-A518-A07C3DB8F777} - c:\windows\system32\BAE.dll Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked. Close HiJackThis. Next Please download the OTMoveIt2 by OldTimer.
-----Step 2----- Kaspersky only works if you are using Internet Explorer. Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner. Click on the Kaspersky Online Scanner button. A box will come up, click Accept, this will allow it to install an ActiveX component and download its latest anti-virus database. (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)

Good Morning Emeraldnzl, Not sure if this compromised the above procedure but between the OTMoveIt and Kaspersky scan I tried to shut my computer down and it froze. I know I probably shouldn't have, but I shut it off manually and when it rebooted Trend Micro PC-cillin said it reverted to the last known good configuration.
