Hello,
i'm new to this board. It looks very helpful.
i have a bug on my machine. I think it is called smltr452.exe

it is located in the Windows/System file.
Does anyone know if A: this is a bug. or B: if it is a normal program . i can't find any reference to this exe file anywhere. I noticed it was in somebody's hijackthis log on this sight. In that case the new.net virus was on their computer so i'm not sure if the smltr452.exe is actually anything at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
yhanks in advance

Welcome to Geeks to Go!
We will need to see your log in order to tell you what kind of file that is.

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log here.

Most of what Hijack This lists will be harmless AND essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
