Does on-board video count as another SLI card, or does the on-board video become null and useless once SLI card(s) are installed? I've looked around the interwebs but cannot find an answer. Halp me.

Onboard video will be disabled once a video card is installed.
No the onboard does not count as a SLI. SLI means two cards connected together to act as one. Usually connected through a small ribbon internally. |

While most motherboards do automatically disable the on-board graphics when a card is installed, there are still some motherboards around that don't and require the on-board to be manually disabled in the BIOS setup menu. Check your motherboard manual to be sure.
