Hello,
In the past coupler of days Firefox, Chrome and Internet explorer don't load webpages up right. I don't know why, the pc did not crash and I really dont know what's happening.

When I tried to load this page on Firefox this came from:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Tue, 30 Sep 2008 19:03:26 GMT Server: Apache/2.0.63 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.63 OpenSSL/0.9.7a mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/5.2.5 X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.5 X-Pingback: http://www.geekstogo.com/blog/xmlrpc.php Keep-Alive: timeout=5, max=100 Connection: Keep-Alive Transfer-Encoding: chunked Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 2357
Sometimes it does even show up anything...

On explorer it says:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems

More information

I uninstall Chrome but nothing change..
I also tried to reinstall firefox and explorer but it didnt help
Does anybody know what the problem is? thanks a lot
Alberto

Hi,

If you receive this error then it could be due to improper DNS resolving.

Have you tried restarting your router?

Try following command at command prompt

ipconfig /flushdns

Also try repairing your network connection from

Control Panel -> Network Connections -> Local Area Connection. Now right click and click Repair.

If this doesn't work then try disabling your firewall.

Thanks for the answer,
I tried what you told me but that didn't help:
-I flushed the DNS
-Tried to repair the conection
-Shut down ZoneAlarm
Now I can see a few webpages after refreshing them several times, but for example my Gmail account doesn't load at all.
Do you have other suggestions?
thanks for your time
Albert

Turn off computer. Disconnect router, and modem from power source for 30 seconds.
Power them back on.
Restart computer.

If that doesn't work, bypass router, and connect computer straight to the modem.

If that doesn't work...
Go Start>Run (Start search in Vista), type in:
cmd
Click OK.

In Command Prompt window, type in following commands, and hit Enter after each one:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

Restart computer.

If that doesn't work...
Go Start>Run (Start search in Vista), type in:
cmd
Click OK.

At Command Prompt, type in:
netsh int ip reset reset.log
Hit Enter.
Type in:
netsh winsock reset catalog
Hit Enter.

Restart computer.

If that doesn't work...
Download, install, and run WinSockFix: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Network...inSockFix.shtml
Restart computer, and check again.

Thanks for the answer,
I tried everything you suggested but the conection is falling every other click. I have tried with the winsockfix but after 5 minutes I still dont have connection on my browsers. Something I have notice is that the Gmail notifier works even when the browsers dont and my conection seems ok at the start menu, it shows the conection as "connected".
What can I do??? this is very irritating and frustrating,
thanks for the help

Yes! Thanks for this post! I tried Winsock after uninstalling Google Chrome which was constantly updating and I got all my sites back. Great tool! I will add that one to my thumb drive!

I would try Malwarebytes. It has removed items others did not. Never know.
