cannot use the computer's microphone, it's not working., help

hi. my microphone is not working. i tried testing the mike in other computers and it worked fine. it tried the headset line and its also working fine.

Try opening your volume control, clicking on options, and see if you have a checkmark in recording/microphone. It is not checked by default in windows.
