cant cut and paste , computer just isnt working right

i just recieved help from here over a week ago .. they helped with some errors i was having.. however now idk whats wrong but it just isnt working smoothly.. the little egg timer thingy by the mouse point is always on.. andit kinda lags,, when i go to cut an paste anything it sents an error and wont let me.. if i go to update windows i cant, and also the internet connection goes off regularily, it never did these things before so im thinking its something that was done in the last fixing up and some setting is off.. anyway, any help will be great.. thanks a bunch!!
