AS the title says it will burn cd's but will not read most cds in windows.... if i boot to a linux cd or other bootable disk it works fine... the os is windows xp home sp3. Have tried replacing drive and the cable also connecting as slave to hard drive same results.... seems to me I've seen this before and it was a regedit but I can't think of what exactly it was... any help is appreciated....
