computer freeses in sleep mode/ other times, Computer freezes during sleep mode/some other times

OS: 2000,xp
I find that my computer will freeze randomly especially during sleep mode. When I come back to use my computer and move the mouse thinking it will wake back up it is frozen. I have cleaned things out and run spyware,virus softeware but to no avail. Help!

Well I posted my problem but not one person responded. Does that mean nobody cares? My husband seems to think I have to much on my desktop and toolbar. My hard drive isn't full or close to it. This freezing and not coming back up from hibernation is driving me nuts! HELP!

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a HiJackThis Log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
