On startup from cold, my screen shows jumbled colours and horizontal lines. Some of the desktop icons are mis-coloured, radio buttons and tick-boxes are mashed etc.. If I refresh the desktop by, say, opening a program and closing it they gradually clear up. Rebooting also clears it.

So... I'm wondering if this could be a graphics card problem as it goes away as the m.board / cards warm up. Or perhaps an XP problem? - could my computer be ready to die on me?

thanx for any info. smile.gif
