.exe files won't run

Go to this link, download the fix to .EXE file association, follow the instructions and install the patch.

When I try to run xp_exe_fix I get a message saying "Registry editind has been disabled by the administrator"

Is this a privately owned computer? Do your account have administrator aouthorization?

Please boot the computer in Safe Mode. Log into the account called Administrator. Try to install the fix now.

Like I said I don't know a lot about computers how do I use safe mode?

Usually this is done by clicking the f8 key as soon as you start the computer.

I'm going to give Broni some backup here and say this is a malware issue, considering he can't use the registry editor either.

I suggest you follow Broni's Instructions to post in the malware forum.
Just post saying you can't run any exe files, They will know what to do.
