I have a Windows Vista and I am trying to install a Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise multi-user suite on it. The Operating System and Office Suite are fully licensed. Previously I had the same MS Office 2007 installed on the same OS without any problem. However, now unfortunately when I try installing even from different drivers (either from the CD, or external hard-drive) I still receive the same error messages. I’ve received different messages in different stages of installation (I’ve re-installed my Windows Vista and even upgraded to Vista Business); however the problem still persists. For awhile the message was that “the Microsoft Setup Bootstrapper has stopped working”. I’ve changed registry values; unregistered and reregistered my Windows Installer, etc. The current error message I get is , "Office Source Engine has Stopped Working", following with “Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 Setup did not complete successfully”. I’ve realized also that I can’t install Windows Installer 3.1. The error message pertaining to its installation is “not enough storage memory for this command”. I wonder if they have anything to do with each other. Update: I've installed Windows Vista Serive Pack 1; the problem still exists. I’ll appreciate any guidance or assistance.
