when i try to go to any link using IE, i seem to get info or search pages. at the same time, i sometimes get that fake antivirus screen. but when i look at the hijackthis log, there doesnt seem to be anything wrong there. also when i try to change my default seafrch provider in IE7, it wont let me. error message is like it seems as if it thinks i am not connected to internet. some more information: i wont let me update malwarebytes. same with activating norton. can you take a look at this and help. thanks so much.
