help! final fantasy vii wont install on PC
i need help plea...

OS: Windows XP



i recently got Final Fantasy VII for the PC. however, it wont install on my Windows XP laptop. the CD ran and i clicked install but then nothing happened. in task manager i could see the install running but nothing happened. i tried intalling this on my main computer, a Windows 2000 and installed and played fine. any help would be appreciated. THANK YOU

Have you tried running the setup program using compatibility mode?

i have tried all compatibilty modes ( Windows 95, Windows 2000, Windows 98 / ME, and Windows NT 4.0) still have problems on all of them.
