help! my usb is infected that i can't even format it

OS: windows xp
pls help me. my usb is infected and i can't format or even delete the files. it keeps on saying that the disk is write protected even if it's not. even the latest updates from AVG, Nod32, and MacAfee can't delete the virus. they can detect it, but not delete it. from the nod32, it says that the virus is win32/hagaklan.
