I have a phat PSP, and i wanted to get the custom firmware for it, except there is one huge problem. it is version 3.9 and that makes it hard to downgrade, and i dont want to pandora my battery. does anybody know of how i could get a custom firmware and safely?

"Custom Firmware" is not a supported addition to any PSP. Its considered a "hack".
