my computer was invaded by spyware called allaboutsearching. it resets my homepage, by search page, causes popups, and changed registry keys and values. after using ad-alert and spybot, it recreated itself whenever i restarted my computer. i used hijackthis, and took out the lines that were obvious (they contained the phrase allaboutsearching). the problem is better, but i have missed something because the homepage still resets upon restarting. the programs mprocessor and powerreg were created or at least altered on the day of infection, but i am scared to remove anything more for fear of damaging stuff i dont understand. please help if you can; and remember i am computer illiterate, and need very precise directions. thanks!
